Research - Analysis of a music video

A video I would consider to be a good example of the music video form would be Pixie Lott - All about tonight:

The editing follows the music really well, changing its pace with the music when it gets slower as well as it speeds up. Costume has been thought through, as Pixie and the other dancers are wearing the same colour, and throughout the video there is a colour scheme. There are many establishing shots which sets the scene and relates to Pixie's theme of partying during the night. There are lots of moments when choreography is used, and some when its not, so it gives a range of situations. Although there is controversy over Pixie's outfits, the video represents her as a typical pop artist, helping to promote her singles and albums.
