Animatic Video

Most people think that doing animatic videos as a part of planning is useless. I used to think this way last year, when we were doing preliminary video with jellys. However, it is very helpful when it comes to explaining your ideas to the rest of the class mates or teachers.

Our animatic video was quite simply done. We used pictures of locations we wanted to record in, and toys as a characters. The pictures were displayed on the screen of Mac, and they were found eaither by google pictures or google maps. 

At last, we presented the video to the whole class and explained all the questions on the end. Teachers were pleased with what we've done and said that "everything is more clear to them right now".

This is a good example of Animatic video drawn by hand. Later on, it was used in one of the Gorrilas' music video.
