randon example of storyboard from google.co.uk |
Storyboard is a panel or series of panels of rough sketches outlining the scene sequence and major changes of action or plot in a production to be shot on film or video.
But because none of us can actually draw, we decided to make a list of shots and ideas we want to do for the first day of filming. Rather than putting ugly drawing of stickman into storyboard, we wrote 14 points of different shots. We all agreed that we would just waste time to create a storyboard which will not make any sense. In the result we would have to name each of the screens to understand what we meant when we were drawing it.
So we concentrated on the short list, and discussed possible alternatives and extra ideas.
