One of the tasks which have to be included in pitch was animatic. I didn't have a clue how we are going to do it, and what the point if we already know and decide what we are going to do. But to be honest, animatic was really helpful. While creating visualisation using similar pictures of location and small funny dolls to replicate people, we all had a chance to see it on the screen rather than only in head.
Before, when we were talking to teacher about our idea, they were not quite sure want we want to do. They were kind of unhappy with what we would create. However, after watching our animatic they clearly said that now they understand what we want to do, and they like it. They gave us few advice ideas, what we can change or improve. So they already could give us a feedback just before filming, which will not only improve our footage but also save our time and energy.
