RESEARCH: Analysing other student's video

The music video created by other students we watched was "The world is yours".

I really liked this one, because... well, it was the only one made properly and on the highest standard. Why?

Location: This is a very important part of preparation, and they didn't sleep while making a plan of it. Since this is a hip hop music and they cannot afford the newest Mercedes SLR with a package of strip dancers, they've decided to record on the streets. Especially with graffities and dark alleys of London.
Costume: Singer is well dressed in a hat and huge jeans falling off his ... as you expect from the rappers.

The group collected massive amount of footage, and combined with fantastic editing in the right place on the right time, made this video fantastic. They also used "Fisheye lense" to make the video outstanding. Music was well connected to the video, and even through it wasn't illustration, they used appropiate footage at right time. Clever.

They have recorded quite a lot of footage of streets and objects/props connected to the video. Fast edit was very well used while recording the streets from bus, and slow motions on props and people.

It's hard to say what they represent, but since there is quite a lot of teenagers behaving well, I might say they represent themselves, and want to show that not all teens listening to hip hop are '"bandits".

From what I know, the movie scored 60/60 and was probably the best from the lot of others. Well done!
