Calvin Harris (born January 17, 1984) is a Scottish singer, songwriter and record producer. He was born and grew up in Dumfries, Scotland, UK.Harris signed the contract with EMI and Sony BMG in 2006, when his music had been found on Myspace (social network).
First album "Created Disco" was realised in 2007. The album contained electronic sounding songs, mostly influenced by 1980' music. He promoted himself by going on a UK tour with Faithless and Groove Armada.
Later on, Harris recorded with Kylie Minogue, when she found him after his recordings has been passed to her by record producer. Now, Calvin Harris is well known Electropop star, mostly dominating Europe with his singles like "Feel so close".
