Ada found a movie from "Step up 3", which is a film concentrated on dancing. It's actually good movie to take reference from, as characters also have "love for passion" just like in our music video.
Eye contact was very important in this scene, as it makes audience part of the movie. Its a great effect, however I am not sure if we also should use it, because we aren't doing a movie. We can't really look into camera. It's hard to explain it to me. Just a feeling I've got =).
Panning and tracking was also very important, as it makes clips much more effective than still ones. I, as a camera operator, will be trying to move around with camera whenever it is possible, however I don't really know how the dance will "look like". The word I'm looking at is "choreography", I think =)
Variety and combination of mid and long shots are very important to create an effective mixture. However, I will be trying also to concentrate on close ups. In my opinion, close ups are compulsory to make video interesting and "stylish", especially when it comes to clips where "speed and pace" are playing main part.
They filmed whole scene in one go. I'm sure they did it like thousand times to make it work, however we will be doing it uncountable number of times to get this effect =) so nevermind...

I'd say:
- Hand held camera to make it look more effective, and with some luck, get greater effects and clips by "mistake" =)
-Close ups combined with long shots, less mid's.
- NOT eye contact.
