Digipak -first practice

Due to the Christmas season, our artist is still on the holidays. We had no chance to take any pictures beforehand, and now we have to wait for him untill he finally come back to us :)

However I decided to spend this time productivly and I did some practice on the photoshop. I tried to find way which will shows the '3D' effect the most effectivly. 

However I am not happy with my outcome. I think it looks bit childish. It is too colourful. It actually looks very cheap. The '3D' effect does not look as it suppose to look, it seems to be too heavy. Also the album title and the  artist name doesn't match. Also the white background seems to be too bright for these colours.  

That is why I start to look for any other inspiration for my digipak. 

I have a new ideas. I believe it is much better than the last one ;p 

I want to take picture from the side of Robert's face and put the title and artist name coming from his mouth.
