Research - Reflecting AS technical skills

We learnt a range of technical skills during my AS media course. We learnt how to do the following:

Filmmaking:

• How to use the camera appropriately and efficiently so that we were careful using it.
• How to work a JVC filming camera.
• Using the equipment such as the tripod and light.
• Using camera shots and how to use a range of them, e.g. close up and mid-shot.
• Using camera angles such as high and low angles to create the right impression for the viewers.

Sound: 

• Using the sound software to create a soundtrack.
• Sound effects for more dramatic impact.

Editing:

• How to use the software 'Final Cut Pro', which includes linear editing, how to import and export, transition effects and other tools.
• 'Livetype' to create a range of fonts to create the right image.
